Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) was founded in 1987 through a “Social Contract” between the Government of Odisha and the Odisha Jesuit Society. Renowned as a world-class business school, it emphasises quality management education, strong ethics, and values. XIMB is the flagship of XIM University and also leads socio-economic development projects with international agencies and the government. The institute plays a key role in supporting local entrepreneurs, advancing management research, and driving industrial development through innovative consulting. Its Board of Governors includes representatives from the Jesuit Society, government, industry, and academia, and its faculty are recognised for their impactful research and publications.
