Located in MADURDAHA Area behind Ruby General Hospital, overlooking green ridge, the IIFT Campus at Kolkata is considered to be one of the finest in the eastern part of the Country. The campus spread over 7 acres of land houses one academic block and admin block each and two residential blocks for students and visiting faculty. Be it the mystic beauty of the architectural design, or the splendor of the campus in full bloom in winter, it never fails to impress the visitors. The campus itself is a very picturesque with artistically designed buildings and well‐maintained plush gardens and water bodies. The facilities available on the campus include, fully air‐ conditioned lecture halls with modern audio‐visual aids, conference halls for round‐table conferences, an auditorium of 500 seating capacity, MDP Centre, computer centre, indoor games, sports ground, besides excellent residential facilities for the students.

How IIFT Kolkata selects its batch — step by step
- 01
After the CAT 2026 result gets declared, register for IIFT. Apply online at iift.ac.in and pay application fee.

IIFT calculates Stage-1 shortlisting score out of 100 which includes CAT 2026 Score (weightage 90, normalised as [Candidate's CAT score / Maximum CAT score] x 90) + Work Experience (5) + Gender Diversity (Male=0, other gender=5). One who meets sectional and overall CAT cut-offs are shortlisted for Stage 2.

The students who gets shortlisted undergo a Group Discussion, conducted in person at designated GD/PI centres.

Students who appear for a Personal Interview assessing academic background, work experience, awareness of trade/economic affairs and motivation for MBA(IB)/MBA(BA).

IIFT combines and calculates the Final Composite Score (CAT 2025 Score 55 + GD 10 + PI 20 + Gender Diversity 5 + Work Experience 5 + Academic Consistency 5 = 100) and releases the campus-wise/programme-wise final merit list on iift.ac.in.

Selected students receive an offer letter (round-wise) through the online candidate dashboard. Students have to upload/submit original documents (Class 10 & 12 mark sheets, degree mark sheets/certificates, category certificate if applicable, work-experience proof) for verification and pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.
