How IIM Kashipur selects its batch — step by step
- 01
Students meeting minimum academic % and minimum CAT percentile criteria receive an invitation e-mail and must complete mandatory online JAP-2026 registration.

Shortlisting for PI based on CAT 2025 score meeting category-wise cutoffs
- 03
PI is conducted jointly for JAP (common process across IIM Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi & Trichy). Weight: 25 out of 100 in final merit list
- 04
Each participating IIM (incl. IIM Kashipur) prepares its own category-wise Merit List using the Composite (Grand Total) Score = PI Score + Shortlist Score (CAT score + academics + work-ex + diversity). Candidates must also meet minimum graduation-marks eligibility

Final admission offer list released based on the Grand Total merit score; reservation norms
