How IIM Ranchi selects its batch — step by step
- 01
After the CAT result is declared, the students who are eligible will receive an email invitation from JAP 2026 admission office and must complete online registration by the given deadline for the interview process.

A category-wise shortlisting is prepared from registered students based on CAT score for the Personal Interview (PI) process.
- 03
PI is held physically and communicated through mail regarding the venue and time details.
- 04
The final merit is released based on the CAT Score, PI and Profile Score. Post the calculation, offer letter is issued to the students.

Shortlisting for PI based on CAT percentile (sectional + overall)

Appear for offline WAT and Personal Interview (PI) at designated centres

Preparation of Consolidated Merit List (CML) based on CAT score, PI score, and profile
