The School of Petroleum Management (SPM) at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (previously PDPU) was founded in 2006 as the Institute of Petroleum Management and focuses on management education for the petroleum and energy industries. SPM provides MBA programs that are suited to industry demands by fusing industry-specific knowledge with fundamental management principles. Through international partnerships, the school promotes global exposure and places a strong emphasis on learning that is driven by research. SPM seeks to create skilled individuals who can successfully traverse the changing global energy environment and make valuable contributions to companies in the oil, gas, and energy industries through a curriculum that emphasizes sustainability, energy transition, and leadership.
