How VGSoM IIT KGP selects its batch — step by step
- 01
Appear for CAT 2026 and after the result is out, fill the online application form by visiting the IIT Kharagpur ERP portal.
- 02
Shortlisting for WAT-PI based on CAT score, Application Rating (academics + work experience) and Gender Diversity Factor.
- 03
Students are called for WAT and PI round. It has to attended in-person WAT (Written Aptitude Test) and Personal Interview (PI)
- 04
The combined score of Application Rating (AR), CAT exam performance (VARC, DILR, QA), and WAT-PI performance is taken and then the merit list gets released.
- 05
The offer letter is released for the selected students.
- 06
Final merit list prepared based on cumulative score of CAT performance, Application Rating, and WAT-PI performance

Admission offer issued to selected candidates
